A: Not at all. We utilize professional-grade industrial vacuum-heat press technology to laminate our high-elasticity PVC film onto the 3D fluted MDF core. The PVC molecules stretch and compress naturally during bending. This ensures zero peeling, no bubbling, and absolutely no stress-whitening or cracking along the scalloped ridges, even when wrapping tight circular or rectangular pillars.
Q2: How do you clean and maintain the matte black PVC surface to prevent fingerprints or scuffs?
A: Unlike raw painted wood or genuine timber veneer which easily absorbs oils and scratches, our premium PVC coated surface is highly scratch-resistant and stain-proof. To maintain its flawless luxury matte appearance, simply wipe it down occasionally with a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth or a feather duster. It requires no specialized wood oils, waxes, or repainting over time.
Q3: What is the best method to cut and install these black flexible tambour sheets?
A: The panels can be easily customized and cross-cut horizontally or ripped vertically using a standard table saw or a circular saw fitted with a fine-tooth blade. For a clean, seamless installation on either flat drywalls or curved substrates, apply a heavy-duty polyurethane construction adhesive (nail-free glue) evenly onto the flat backing strips, press the panel firmly onto the surface, and secure the edges with a few brad nails until the glue cures.
