FAQ:

Q1: Do I need to prime these panels again before painting the final color?
A: No, you do not need to apply another primer. Our V-groove MDF wall panels come pre-finished with a high-quality factory white base coat primer. The surface is completely sealed and smoothed. All you need to do is ensure the panels are clean and dust-free, and you can apply your preferred acrylic or oil-based interior topcoat paint directly.
Q2: What is the advantage of using primed MDF over real wood shiplap?
A: Premium MDF provides superior dimensional stability compared to solid timber. Real wood boards are highly prone to warping, twisting, shrinking, and expanding with humidity changes, which can cause ugly gaps over time. Additionally, MDF has no natural wood knots, eliminating the risk of tree resin bleeding through and ruining your final paint finish.
Q3: How do you hide the nails or screws during the tongue & groove installation?
A: Our panels feature an intelligent tongue and groove profile that allows for blind nailing. When installing, you simply drive the brad nails or screws at an angle through the tongue of the panel into the wall studs or timber batten. When the next panel’s groove slides over the tongue, it completely conceals the fasteners, resulting in a flawless, nail-free surface.
